The exhibition will be a collaboration with The Finnish Association of Designers Ornamo and the German Bund der Kunsthandwerker Baden-Württemberg e. V. The opening party will be on Thursday 19th of June and the exhibition will be open from 19th to 29th of June 2014.
Ludwigsburg castle is one of the biggest baroque castles in Europe, built in year 1704. I can't wait to explore the garden and the castle while building up the exhibition! I can't believe how lucky I am that I have a chance to exhibit my art in a real baroque castle next to their museum collection of ceramics!

Kaksi teostani valittiin mukaan saksalaisen ja suomalaisen keramiikkataiteen näyttelyyn, joka pidetään Ludwigsburgin linnan keramiikkamuseossa, Saksassa. Kyseessä on neljäs jurytetty näyttely Ludwigsburgin historiallisessa keramiikkamuseossa ja osa yhteistyöprojektia Teollisuustaiteen liitto Ornamo ry:n sekä saksalaisen Bund der KunsthandwerkerBaden-Württemberg e. V välillä. Suomalaisia keramiikkataiteilijoita jurytettiin mukaan myös Kirsi Kivivirta, Tytti Korin, TiiaMatikainen, Johanna Rytkölä, Satu Syrjänen sekä Outi Särkikoski ja mukana on myös kymmenen saksalaista kollegaamme. Avajaiset tulevalle upealle näyttelyllemme ovat torstaina 19. kesäkuuta ja se on avoinna 19. - 29.6.2014.
Ludwigsburgin linna on alkuperäinen vuodelta 1704 ja yksi Euroopan isoimpia säilyneitä barokkipalatseja. Tuskin maltan odottaa, että pääsen tutkimaan linnaa ja käyskentelemään sen puutarhassa näyttelyn rakentamisen lomassa. Siis, kuinka onnellinen voi nuori keramiikkataiteilija ollakaan, kun pääsee mukaan näyttelyyn, joka pidetään näin hienoissa puitteissa? (Erittäin kovin onnellinen.)
